How to Enrol at Taita College
If you need any more information before you decide to apply to Taita College, please contact the Director of International Students (by fax or letter).
If you want to come to Taita College:
- Fill in your
application form.
- Fax or post to the college the application form, a copy of your most recent school report and examination results, and a testimonial as to character.
- The Principal and Director of International Students will assess your application and if you are successful will offer you a definite or provisional place. (If the offer is provisional they will explain what other information is required.)
Once you have decided to come to Taita College you and your family should discuss your homestay arrangements or requirements with the Director of International Students.
- If you decide to accept the offer of a place, send in the signed Contract with Taita College form and a non-refundable deposit of NZ$500.00 to secure your place.
- The college will then send you a receipt of a formal \"Offer of a Place\" which is conditional upon your completing all requirements.
- In order to obtain a visa you must send the balance of your fees to Taita College either by Bank Draft or by telegraphic transfer to the Taita College BOT bank account, number 12-3142,0297835-00, at ASB, Queensgate. If you send a telegraphic transfer, please fax the college with details.
- The college will then send you a receipt.
- Take your "Offer of a Place" and receipts to your nearest High Commission or New Zealand Embassy who will issue you with a visa. If you are already in New Zealand you will go to the Immigration Department.
- Let Taita College know your date and time of arrival in Wellington.
